The VCA begin marking classes using their new system. Using Pocket PC's, the system electronically tracks attendance across dance, music & drama workshops, instrumental lessons as well as normal classes.

Oberon High School begins the process of implementing student attendance software into their school using a combination of laptops and handheld computers.

	Schools in Sync - Student Attendance At last a student attendance module that offers all the options for recording, processing and analysis of student absences. Record absences via laptops, Pocket PC's and web pages. Currently being evaluated by DE&T for use in all Victorian schools.
	Student Management - Integrating Modules This software integrates all software modules with new modules, eg Managed Pathways, student welfare. This means that staff will be able to access all relevant student data, including all past report results from one central location. This module will be available mid-2003.
